An Evening with Samantha Silva

In partnership with Seattle Repertory Theatre, Folio is excited to welcome author Samantha Silva back to Folio, this time in person, in conversation with Folio librarian Lillian Dabney!

Join us for an evening of conversation and wine reception celebrating the World Premiere of Mr. Dickens and His Carol, starting November 25th at the Seattle Repertory Theatre, adapted for the stage from Samantha Silva’s critically acclaimed novel by the same title.

Samantha Silva is an author and screenwriter based in Idaho. She’s sold film projects to Paramount, Universal, and New Line Cinema. Her debut novel, Mr. Dickens and His Carol, was published by Flatiron Books, followed by Love and Fury: A Novel of Mary Wollstonecraft. Her work appears in LitHub and One Story. She has been an Idaho Commission on the Arts Literary Fellow and a Bread Loaf Literary Fellow.
