About the Event
Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum welcomes back the Seattle based Fulton Street Chamber Players, anchored by Walter Gray, cello and Rachel Swerdlow, viola, for their spring 2025 concert. The duo will be joined by violinists Brittany Boulding Breeden and Dawn Posey, and violist Katie Liu for a program of Viola quintets.
Immerse yourself in performances of Mozart string quintet in g minor, K. 516, and Dvorak string quintet in E flat major, Op 97.
Join us for an intimate evening of musical performances in the round, which puts audience members close enough to read the music on the stands, and enjoy a wine reception to conclude the evening.
Dawn Posey maintains an active and varied performing, teaching, and coaching career. She is currently Concertmaster of the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra in Bellingham, WA and Assistant Concertmaster of the Northwest Sinfonietta in Tacoma, WA.
